Making a difference
in the North East |
Children North East is the longest established children's
charity in the North East of England, founded in 1891 as the
Poor Children's Holiday Association.
Over the years the work has changed considerably but the charity's
aims and objectives have always been the same - to ensure
that every child, young person and family who uses their services
are helped to overcome their difficulties and that they go
on to reach their full potential in life.
The number and range of projects that Children North East
manages is wide and constantly changing and as a voluntary
organisation the support of the community is critical to ensure
their work can continue. To learn more about the history of
Children North East and to read about current projects please
