Pro Credit
GoodFund and ProCredit have joined forces to expand the access
to credit to more men and women, who are currently ignored by
commercial banks.
With
approximately 5,700 employees in 275 branches, the ProCredit Banks
serve about 650,000 customers – which includes more than
375,000 borrowers.
Their combined balance-sheet totals about EUR 1,3 billion. Based
on current projections, the ProCredit network will have an outstanding
credit volume of just under EUR 1 billion, and customer deposits
of about EUR 900 million by the end of 2004. The company’s
plan for the next five years calls for expansion of its operations
to 25 countries particularly in Africa and Latin America.Read
